Year 1

Traditional 
  • English - For local elders or members transitioning to the role of pastoring a local church you must complete the following:  VLP approval and application process (approval from local church, Pastor and Conference) which includes: a. NCC Child protection training and background check, b. Complete a volunteer service agreement, c. Sign and date the VLP role description, d. Be ordained as a local elder, and e. Complete, either through independent study, or by attending a NCC Cohort intensive, the year 1 syllabus that is attached HERE with sample schedule.  
  • Español - Para los líderes o miembros locales que están en transición al rol de pastorear una iglesia local, deben completar lo siguiente: Proceso de aprobación y solicitud de VLP (aprobación de la iglesia local, pastor y conferencia) que incluye: a. Capacitación en protección infantil de NCC y verificación de antecedentes, b. Completar un acuerdo de servicio voluntario, c. Firmar y fechar la descripción del rol de VLP, d. Ser ordenado anciano local, y e. Complete, ya sea a través de un estudio independiente o asistiendo a un curso intensivo de NCC Cohort, el programa de estudios del año 1 que se adjunta AQUÍ con un horario de muestra. ​​​​​

  • Suggested Church-Wide Trainings: a. Orientation to Ministry TEAMS, b. Knowing the Lord (emphasis on Spiritual Disciplines), c. Disciplemakers 101.  These church-wide trainings are made available by the Coordinator. 

Church Planting
  • English: Go through the NCC application and recognition process, agree with and implement the NCC Roadmap, attend SEEDS ACTS training overview weekend, enroll in the ACTS training module program and follow all NCC guidelines.  The SEEDS overview is available HERE. 
  • Español: Siga el proceso de solicitud y reconocimiento de NCC, acepte e implemente la Hoja de ruta de NCC, asista al fin de semana de descripción general de capacitación de SEEDS ACTS, inscríbase en el programa del módulo de capacitación de ACTS y siga todas las pautas de NCC. Year 2: Under Development

Traditional 
  • English - For Volunteer Lay Pastors that have gone from candidates (which is what you are in year 1 training) to continuing to transition to the role of pastoring a local church you must complete the following:  VLP approval and re-application process (from local church, Pastor and Conference) which includes: a. Complete the digital or printed version of the re-application, b. Complete a volunteer service agreement, c. Complete, either through independent study or by attending a NCC Cohort intensive, the year 2 syllabus that is given to you by the Coordinator. 
  • Español: Para los Pastores Laicos Voluntarios que han pasado de ser candidatos (que es lo que estás en la capacitación del año 1) a continuar con la transición al rol de pastor de una iglesia local, debes completar lo siguiente: Proceso de aprobación y re-solicitud del VLP (de la iglesia local, Pastor y Conferencia) que incluye: a. Complete la versión digital o impresa de la nueva solicitud, b. Completar un acuerdo de servicio voluntario, c. Complete, ya sea mediante estudio independiente o asistiendo a un intensivo de cohorte de NCC, el programa de estudios del año 2 que se adjunta AQUÍ. ​

  • ALL / TODAS: Attend any VLP bootcamps that are offered by the North American Division, Union or local Conference.  / Asista a los campamentos de entrenamiento de VLP ofrecidos por la División, Unión o Conferencia local de América del Norte.  NAD VLP Bootcamps are available in person or you can watch online by visiting their site HERE. ​

Church Planting
  • English: Attend ACTS training modules, continue working through the NCC roadmap and any other procedures that are required.  Begin planning for multiplication by repeating the ACTS process once the church is established.  Consider installing a VLP to maintain the established church so another plant can begin.  Attend any SEEDS or Church Planting Bootcamps that are offered.  
  • Español: Asista a los módulos de capacitación de ACTS, continúe trabajando en la hoja de ruta de NCC y cualquier otro procedimiento que se requiera. Empiece a planificar la multiplicación repitiendo el proceso de ACTS una vez que se establezca la iglesia. Considere instalar un VLP para mantener la iglesia establecida para que pueda comenzar otra planta. Asista a los campamentos de entrenamiento SEEDS o de plantación de iglesias que se ofrecen.
