TEAMS:
Ministry together.

Picture

Welcome to the Ministry TEAMS Site!

Learn about the "Mission/Vision" of this ministry, find resources for your ministry team by clicking on "TEAMS Resources," or share a resource/contact the Coordinator with any questions you may have by clicking on the "Contact" tab.  Not sure where to begin?  Then select the Biblical Foundations tab and proceed from there.  It is hoped that this site will be utilized in such a way that ministry TEAMS will be developed in local congregations and they can access relevant resources to help do ministry where they are! TEAMS is a ministry training program for:
  • The whole church - Where the church becomes a Ministry Training Center with contextualized classes for their locale.  These classes assist them with doing ministry and provide leadership support.
  • For leaders - Resources will be provided for Pastor-coaches and local leaders.

TEAMS stands for the following proficiency areas:

T - Teaching/Preaching

Resources for your small group, church, ministry gathering, etc. that will help effectively share God's word in your context.

E - Evangelism/Engagement

Resources for personal, public and small group sharing of God's Word and the gospel.  The prerequisite to all evangelism is engagement, and resources/links are provided to help you engage the community that your ministry is located in.

A - Administration

Organization and resources based upon the principle, "Work smarter, not harder" are provided in this section.  Also included are resources to build cohesion with your ministry team.

M - Member Care

While doing ministry, some groups get so busy "doing" that they have little time for "being".  Contained in this section are resources to help maintain the relationships of your ministry team, while reaching out to others.
S - Spirituality
This is THE foundation of leadership.  Without personal spirituality, team members may struggle to work together in ministry.  For the closer each team member comes to Jesus, the closer they come to each other.
Jesus Himself spent time in prayer before calling His disciples, and we maintain our spirituality because we ARE His disciples.  Without spiritual connection, there is only an outward show of ministry.
